How to Migrate Personal Assets from DJP to CoreTax
Updated 2026 • 7 min read
The transition from the old DJP reporting system to CoreTax (the latest digital tax reporting system) requires many individual taxpayers to make adjustments and migrate their asset data.
If done manually one by one, this process can be time-consuming and prone to category code errors. Therefore, ZHX Labs provides an automated Excel template to help make the migration process more systematic and accurate.
Problems with Manual Asset Migration
Many taxpayers try to copy asset data one by one into the CoreTax system. This process often results in category code errors, data duplication, and formats that are not suitable for XML import.
Small errors in asset codes can cause import failures or incorrect classifications.
Step 1 — Download the Excel Template
Please download the Individual Asset Migration template first:

Step 2 — Unblock the File (If Necessary)
After downloading, Windows sometimes blocks macro files.
- Right-click the Excel file
- Select Properties
- Check Unblock
- Click OK
If you don't know how, please read the complete guide here: 👉 How to Unblock Excel Files
Step 3 — Enable Macro
Open the Excel file, then click Enable Content / Enable Macro so that the system can run automatically.
Step 4 — Fill in the Data on the "DATA" Sheet
Copy or input all the old asset data into the "DATA" sheet according to the available table format.
Columns that need to be filled in:
- Kode Harta
- Jenis / Nama Harta
- Tahun Perolehan
- Harga Perolehan Lama
- Harga Perolehan Terbaru (jika ada)
- Nilai Saat Ini
- Keterangan
Step 5 — Ensure Asset Codes Match
Open the "DAFTAR KODE HARTA & UTANG" sheet.
Ensure that the asset codes used in the "DATA" sheet must be the same as the codes specified in this reference sheet.
Step 6 — Check the "SORT HARTA" Sheet
The "SORT HARTA" sheet is used to:
- Check the compatibility of old asset data
- Ensure that the category classification is correct
- Checking whether there is any data that has not been categorized
Step 7 — Automatic Results to CoreTax Categories
Once the data is valid, the system will automatically separate assets into the following CoreTax categories:
- KAS & SETARA KAS
- PIUTANG
- INVESTASI_SEKURITAS
- HARTA BERGERAK
- HARTA TIDAK BERGERAK
- HARTA LAINNYA
You can then copy the results as needed for reporting in CoreTax.
Features:
This Excel template is equipped with a feature to copy data per category and export XML that is compatible with the CoreTax system.
- COPY DATA, used to copy data in each category, then paste/move it to the Excel template from CoreTax
- SAVE XML, used to save data to XML file format. (to be used for importing data into CoreTax)
These features are designed to make it easier for users to upload data to CoreTax.
How Does This Migration Template Work?
This Excel template uses formulas and macros to read asset codes, group categories according to the CoreTax structure, and generate a format that is ready for XML import.
The entire process runs locally on your device without an external server connection.
Tips for a Safe & Neat Migration
- Use consistent asset codes from the start
- Do not change the default table structure
- Avoid deleting formulas
- Save backup files before major edits
